Instructions on how to use the platform

User profile

Fill in the profile with short information about yourself

Skills - You can mark multiple skills (by holding down the Ctrl key) if any:

  • Business - People with marketing, sales, legal or financial skills
  • Tech - People with a front-end developer, back-end developer, mobile app developer or other IT skills, as well as engineers who are ready to implement hardware projects.
  • Design / Creative - People with design, visual or textual content creation or other creative skills.
  • Expert - Participants and mentors with in-depth knowledge and experience in the field of Business, Tech or Desing / Creative.

For mentors, we recommend providing a link to your LinkedIn profile

We also recommend creating a short video about yourself. Record a video, upload it to YouTube. To make it not available to the public, select Listed. Copy the video link into the YouTube or GDrive link field (https: // ...).

If you want to provide an additional link to a website or other resource, place that link in the About me field.

Idea authors and team leaders

Add a new idea/team by clicking the Add idea/team button

You can only add one idea/team

  • Team / Idea Name - A name of your choice
  • Problem - a brief outline of why you want to implement such a project. It is advisable to provide some statistics that show that the problem exists.
  • Solution - a brief description of the solution for which it is intended, what are the benefits for the user or customer.
  • The visual image of the idea - we recommend adding one image describing the idea/project. By default, a random image will be added.
  • Idea status - Indicate if this is a new idea/project that has been worked on before.
  • If the project has already been worked on, indicate what has already been done.
  • Team status - Indicate whether the team is already completed or looking for teammates.
  • Needed skills - If you are looking for team members, specify what skills are needed.
  • Skills comment - Describe in more detail exactly what skills, experience and knowledge you would expect from potential team members.
  • YouTube or GDrive link (https: // ...) - We recommend creating an idea/project promo video. Record a video, upload it to YouTube. To make it not available to the public, select Listed. Copy the video link into the YouTube or GDrive link field (https: // ...).
  • Website (http: // ...) - a link to other Internet resources, such as a website.

After saving the post/idea, the author/team leader of the idea can invite existing team members to join by sending an email to the link below "Send this link to your friend to invite in the team." Participants who receive a unique invitation link from the author of the idea are automatically approved by the team

For participants who want to join one of the teams.

  • Take a look at all ideas/teams
  • Open an idea/team that you find interesting
  • If you want to join the team, in the Team section, click [Join Team]
  • Briefly state why you want to join the team
  • You can send [Join Team] requests to multiple teams
  • Idea authors can also send [Join Team] requests

Approval and rejection of team members

After submitting the request, the author of the idea/team leader will receive an e-mail notification about your request

  • The team leader must [Approve] or reject [Request] the request.
  • Appropriate notification will be emailed to the author after the approval or rejection request
  • If a participant has sent several requests, the moment the author of the idea approves the request, one of the other requests is cancelled and the authors of the other ideas are notified accordingly by e-mail.

Participants who receive a unique invitation link from the author of the idea are automatically approved by the team

Leaving the team

  • A team member can leave the team by clicking [Leave] in the Team section
  • The team leader can remove any one of his team by clicking [Remove] in the Team section.

Discussions

In the discussion section, You can start a discussion.

The team leader and approved team members will be notified of a new discussion entry.
